Wild Card Categories for 2014 Season (current season)
Thanks for all your input on WILD CARD categories. We have plenty of suggestions for future years so don't be alarmed if you don't see your favorite category this year.
These are the 3 categories for our current season:
1. Number of books blogged about with over 750 pages.
2. Number of team members with pets.
3. Number of books by blog posts about books by Neil Gaiman. <-Totally new category we are trying this year.
For new competitors - we usually have 10 scoring factors each season. Your top 5 scores get added together to make your final team score. Things like total books, total pages, page average are "given". We also like to change some of the factors each year to mix it up a bit and give everybody a chance.
As always, we are open to suggestions and questions about scoring.
